# Spot Metadata

Returns spot token metadata and supported trading pairs with Notional collateral policy. The `spotMeta` WebSocket channel uses the same payload.

## Fields

| `assets` | Token metadata keyed by canonical unprefixed hex AssetId |
| `assets[].assetIndex` | Hyperliquid token index, serialized as a string |
| `assets[].tokenId` | Hyperliquid token identity for venue transfers |
| `assets[].szDecimals` | Maximum amount precision |
| `assets[].weiDecimals` | Transfer precision for on-chain sendAsset flows |
| `assets[].collateralPolicy` | Notional collateral LTV, haircut, borrowing eligibility, and borrow limits |
| `spotPairs` | Supported trading pairs keyed by canonical unprefixed hex HL\_SpotPair AssetId |
| `spotPairs[].tokens` | Base and quote token AssetIds, in that order |
| `spotPairs[].minimumCloseEnabled` | Present only when the protocol's internal minimum-close capability is enabled for this USDC pair |

Pairs with missing token metadata or unsupported quote assets are omitted. This endpoint supplies token reference data; account balances come from [`spotClearinghouseState`](/api-reference/info-endpoints/spot-clearinghouse-state).
